David Miralles has a degree in Theoretical Physics and a PhD in Mathematical Physics from the University of Barcelona. He conducted part of his studies at Unicamp in Brazil and has been visiting researcher at Observatoire de Paris, International Centre for Theoretical Physics (Trieste) and Media Lab at MIT. He is currently associate professor at La Salle Campus Barcelona (Universitat Ramon Llull). He is also member of the Media Technology Research Group at the same university, he founded and directs the Seamless Interaction Group, focused on rethinking the relationship between people and objects.
